The plant is just about done with the new Tough Luck ep. They will be shipping us everything this week. The only thing we're behind on is artwork. Long story short, we had to hire a new artist since the last person seem to have dropped off the planet. Meanwhile, the guys will be playing shows this Summer so be sure to check 'em out.

We are sad to annouce that Denver's CROOKED WAYS will be breaking up. They will play one last show in Denver which has yet to be annouce. After being together for a few years, plenty of tours, and releases of two ep's, we wish them the best and their future projects.

We are currently almost out of their 1st pressing of "Crimes Of Passion", so get on the ball and get your copy soon before it's out of print. And pick up "How To Break Hearts" their 2nd pressing of their 1st ep. Both ep's come with digital download card.

So, we're starting off fresh for the New Year and you should already know by now that the new Moutheater record "Colonial" is available for purchase online. Be sure to check 'em out this Saturday in Hampton, VA for their record release show with Vicegrip.

In about a week or two, we will have the new Heathens record "II".

We at Last Anthem are stoked to be working with Crooked Ways. They are from Denver, CO, and will appeal to fans of Kid Dynamite, Crime In Stereo, and The Movielife!

They have already released an EP called "How To Break Hearts" on their own and have build a steady following by relentless touring. With their new EP titled "Crimes of Passion" and artwork being done by the none-then-other Mike Bukowshi, this record should drop hopefully in time for their Summer tour.

We at Last Anthem are beyond STOKED to have Stonethrower joining the family. When Jeremy Crowe of Nothing Personal, Iron Boots, Victim, etc., asked if we would be interested in working with them, how could we say no?

The first to be release from these guys will be a limited 4 songs cassette S/T. These tracks were recorded a few years back and will be available again for anyone who didn't pick up a CD from them before.

We at Last Anthem decided to donate 100% of the profit earned from our Counterintelligence Recordings catalog to the Norfolk Animal Care Center. For those who are unfamiliar to the NACC, they are truly a wonderful shelter here in Norfolk, VA that goes the extra miles to be a safe haven for abandon pets and strays.

The shelter can then use the monetary donation towards animal feed, toys, bedding, medicine & medical supplies, etc..

Just want to point out some stuff:

If you haven't check out our newest releases, then do yourself a favor and quit being a dickwad. We still have plenty of the 7" split from Punchout & Vengeance. A MUST HAVE if you're a fan of tough-guy hardcore and metal. Bands that come to mind are Madball, Terror, & The Icemen. So if heavy breakdowns and gang-vocals are your thing, pick up a copy and spread the word.

Another release is a debut S/T 7" from Pushing On. These records are going fast and for a good reason, these guys are awesome to watch live. Again, a MUST HAVE if you're a fan of youth crew style hardcore. Also if you like No Justice, Carry On, & Desperate Measure.

Something new that we're doing here is bringing back cassettes like it's 1988 all over again! The first of these limited release will be Pushing On "Banned In VB" which consist new tracks. Hurry and get your copy of their 1st run on pink limited to 20. 2nd run will be green limited to 30, then the rest will be on clear. All hand numbered.

The next release on cassette will be our latest edition to Last Anthem is WAITING MORTUARY "Heavens Descent Unto Ashes" on bloody red limited to 100. Six tracks of pure black metal. Be sure to catch them on tour this New Year with Call The Paramedics.

Also in the future, re-issue 7" of Nothing Personal debut S/T that was originally release on Nightstick Records. If you never gotten a chance to grab your copy, this will be your final chance to do so. For fans of No Redeeming Social Value. Members went on to form Iron Boots, Bracewar, & Victim.

Plus, Bloodquest "Urgent Care" on limited cassette. These guys were way beyond their time...or, should I say stuck in time. For fans of early 80's Bay-Area thrashers.
